Packer did not enter a plea during an appearance Tuesday (4/13) in Superior Court. His arraignment was rescheduled to May 12.
The 20-year-old has been charged with three counts of murder in the stabbing deaths of Brock and Davina Husted and their unborn child.
The charges carry special allegations that could make Packer eligible for the death penalty if convicted. He also was charged with burglary, robbery and use of a gun.
Sheriff's investigators say the Husteds were robbed and repeatedly stabbed by an intruder in a motorcycle helmet who entered their Faria Beach home last May through an unlocked glass door.
