Looks like Lady Gaga found a way to outdo her meat dress from the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.
The pop superstar, who recently premiered her first single of her new album "Born This Way," arrived at the 2011 Grammy Awards inside of a giant egg-shaped pod carried by scantily clad men and women in gold.
Just a few moments after her arrival, Kelly Osbourne Tweeted, "You will not believe your eyes when you see how @ladygaga showed up to the Grammys."
Prior to her red carpet arrival the singer's stylist, Nicola Formichetti,Tweeted from Lady Gaga's Twitter account that the singer was "in incubation. Tonight's performance is in collaboration with Hussein Chalayan and House of Mugler."
The singer, who is set to perform her new "Born This Way" single, is up for six awards. Back in September, she arrived 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in a gown made out of real meat . Gaga, who arrived at the ceremony with several members of the U.S. military, had said she wore the meat dress to protest the long-standing "Don't Ask, Don't tell" policy, which restricts the military from trying to reveal closeted homosexual members and prohibits those who are openly gay.
The animal rights group PETA condemned the singer's dress, as well as a meat bikini she wore on the cover of Vogue Hommes Japan. Lady Gaga said on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" she did not mean to cause disrespect to vegans or vegetarians by wearing a meat outfit.
"As you know, I am the most judgment-free human being on the earth," she said. "However, it has many interpretations, but for me this evening ... If we don't stand up for what we believe in and if we don't fight for our rights, pretty soon we're going to have as much rights as the meat on our own bones. And I am not a piece of meat."
