Teen falls 30 ft. from rope swing into ravine

A teen was seriously injured in Ventura after falling about 30 feet from a rope swing on Sunday, authorities said.

Rescue teams responded to the area of Shannon Avenue and Kennebec Street and extricated him from the ravine at 8:38 p.m.

The teen had suffered serious injuries from the fall and had to be rushed to the Ventura County Medical Center. His condition is unknown.
