Former "Malcolm in the Middle" star Frankie Muniz reportedly got into a heated argument with his girlfriend Elycia Turnbow in Arizona on Friday, according to a police report filed in Phoenix, Arizona.
The police report states that the 25-year-old actor and musician argued with his girlfriend about "prior relationships," according to Us Weekly. The report also states that Muniz "grabbed a gun and held it to his head, possibly with the intent of committing suicide."
The actor was reportedly taken to the hospital by a band mate and then later returned home where he and Turnbow began to argue again. The report states that Muniz then "punched" Turnbow "in the back of the head and threw her into a wall." The police report notes that Turnbow "did not have any visible signs of injuries."
Muniz denies punching Turnbow in the report saying, "No. I love her too much. She is the woman I want to marry." The police then found and impounded a loaded gun.
However, a spokesperson for Muniz denies the report to the magazine stating, "Frankie and Elycia had an argument a few days ago. The police were called to the residence. A gun played no part in the argument and was voluntarily given to the police for safekeeping."
The spokesperson added, "There were no bruises and neither left the residence. He was not suicidal. She was not assaulted. They have been together since the incident; are still together and are moving forward with their lives and with their relationship."
"The table all set for Valentine's Day dinner...I love @elyciamarie," Muniz Tweeted on Tuesday along with a photo of a table decorated with candles and rose petals. The actor has not commented directly on the reports.
The former child star took a hiatus from the acting world to become a race car driver, though he made a brief return with voice work in the 2010 animated feature "The Legend of Secret Pass." He now lives in Arizona and performs with the band You Hang Up where he plays drums.
