Fast-food chains now have to disclose how many calories are in their food.

But does that information make a difference to kids and affect their choices?

Researchers looked over the menu selections of about 350 kids. Restaurants included four of the largest fast-food chains: McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's and KFC.

It turns out that labeling the calorie count had no effect on the kids' food choices. However, since parents had some influence on their selections, experts suggest that parents could help them make healthier choices.
