Adele, a 22-year-old British singer and Grammy winner, recently covered Aretha Franklin's hit 1967 song "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" for a VH1 concert.
The gig, "Adele's VH1 Unplugged," is set to air on the music channel on March 4 at 11 p.m. ET and premiere online a day earlier on the station's website.
Franklin, the 68-year-old "Queen of Soul," recently made headlines over unconfirmed reports that said she had pancreatic cancer.
In November, she canceled all concert dates and personal appearances through May 2011 by order of her doctors. She underwent surgery at a Detroit hospital on December 2 and said it was successful but did not specify her ailment.
She made her first nationally televised appearance since her hospitalization via a pre-taped message that aired during the 2011 Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 13. The singer appeared slightly slimmer.
"I wish that I could have been with you all tonight, but since I couldn't - next year, OK?" Franklin said in the taped message.
The show's first 15 minutes were devoted to Franklin, who has won 18 Grammys during her career, and gathered stars like Jennifer Hudson, Christina Aguilera, Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine and Martina McBride to perform a medley of some of the music legend's greatest hits.
