Paris Hilton turned 30 on February 17, and her millionaire boyfriend Cy Waits recently surprised the hotel heiress with one expensive gift - a Lexus LFA sports car worth about $375,000.
The vehicle boasts a 4.8 liter engine and can reach a speed of 60 mph in 3.6 seconds. It can ultimately go a little more than 200 mph.
"My boyfriend is such a prankster," Hilton said on her Twitter page on Thursday. "He first had them pull up a yellow lexus. I was in shock! The car is amazing! But yellow! So not my style! Ha. Then he had the real present pulled up, the lexus in a beautiful pearl white."
She and Waits have been linked together romantically since about mid-2010 and were detained together in August 2010 in Las Vegas after officers detected a "strong smell of marijuana" coming from their Cadillac Escalade. They were later released.
Hilton pleaded guilty in September to misdemeanor cocaine possession and obstruction charges stemming from the case and is now serving a year of probation. However, Waits has an August 22 court date to face criminal charges, including marijuana possession and driving under the influence.
Waits has showered Hilton with lavish gifts before - on Valentine's Day on February 14, he gave her "the most beautiful ruby and diamond necklace," Hilton said. The heiress has been seen in many expensive cars over the past few years, including a pink Bentley.
Waits surprised her with the new vehicles earlier this week, before the heiress' actual birthday, and the occasion was filmed as part of a segment for her upcoming Oxygen reality show, "The World According to Paris."
Hilton rose to fame with the reality series "The Simple Life," which aired between 2003 and 2007 and also starred fellow Los Angeles socialite Nicole Richie. Just before the show premiered, a homemade sex tape of Hilton and then-boyfriend Rick Salomon was posted online. It was later released on DVD.
Hilton recently celebrated her birthday with Waits, sister Nicky and friends at a Moulin Rouge-themed party at V-Moda Fortress in Los Angeles, People magazine reported, adding that the bash included a petting zoo with a lynx, porcupine, squirrel monkey and sloth. The event was also taped for Hilton's upcoming reality show, it said.
"Such an amazing birthday celebration!" Hilton Tweeted earlier this week before jetting off to New York City, where she plans to celebrate her birthday again and tape an interview with David Letterman. "'Moulin Rouge' themed fun!"
