Officials said they received a 911 call from a robbery victim on Friday. The victim was inside the armored vehicle on the 4400 block of Olivas Park when three Hispanic men wearing masks confronted him.
One suspect started smashing a side window while a second suspect pointed a long gun at the victim and ordered the victim to open the door.
The victim refused and ran to a nearby office to call police. The victim said he saw the suspects fleeing in a white Ford Mustang.
The incident remained under investigation. Anyone with information was urged to call Ventura police at (805) 339-4400.
