The incident happened at construction site in Boise. The Jack Russell Terrier was stuck underground in a drain pipe for 19 hours.
Animal control personnel and construction crews were finally able to rescue the dog.
The dog's owner is a truck driver who often takes the Jack Russell Terrier with him on deliveries. There was no word on exactly how the dog got into the pipe.
The owner said he was just looking forward to giving the little guy a bath.
