Maria Aragon, a 10-year-old girl from Canada, is the latest YouTube sensation to achieve international fame thanks to a cover of Lady Gaga's new single "Born This Way" and recently performed the song on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" as well as on ABC's "Good Morning America."
Aragon is seen singing the track and performing it on a piano in the YouTube video. Lady Gaga posted a link to the video on her Twitter page and spoke to Aragon, who said the singer invited her to perform at her concert at Toronto's Air Canada Centre on March 3.
"Of course I'm going to be nervous because she's so incredible and I'm only beginning," Aragon said on "Good Morning America." "She's super nice. I'm just thrilled that I got to meet her. She said that she was having a bad day and I made her day, which I'm really proud about."
Lady Gaga performed the song at the recent 2011 Grammy Awards, during which she appeared inside a giant egg and won three prizes.Lady Gaga's song "Paparazzi," which was one of the most-watched clips on the website in 2010. DeGeneres later signed him to her new record label and brought him on her talk show. He released his first single, "Waiting Outside the Lines" in October.
