OTRC: 'The Bachelor' down to final 2

Brad Womack of 'The Bachelor' speaks to ABC in a promotional interview for season 15 of the show, which premieres Jan. 3, 2011.

"The Bachelor" season 15 is nearing an end, with Brad Womack eliminating Ashley Hebert in Monday night's episode.

In the next-to-last episode, Womack flew Ashley Hebert, Emily Maynard and Chantal O'Brien to South Africa for three individual dates and (for the first time in "Bachelor" history) nights in the Fantasy Suite.

Womack took Chantal, who is an executive assistant from Seattle, on an African safari and they spent the night in a tree house together.

Womack told Emily, a children's hospital event planner from Charlotte, NC, that he was falling in love with her after they rode an elephant together and the single mother said that if they went to the Fantasy Suite together that they should "just talk" because she wanted to set a good example for her daughter.

Then Womack took Ashley H., who's a dentist from Philadelphia, on a helicopter ride and took offense to the fact that she wants to keep getting to know him before becomming his wife. She was eliminated before the rose ceremony.

In the next episode, the final two women will join Womack in Cape Town, South Africa. The women will have the opportunity to meet their bachelor's family and continue towards the inevitable proposal.

Womack, a bar owner from Texas, stirred controversy in 2007 after he rejected both finalists, Jenni Croft and DeAnna Pappas on the season 11 finale.

Womack told reporters in December that his former "Bachelor" experience had a negative effect on his love life.

During the episode, ABC announced the contestants for season 12 of "Dancing With the Stars."

Next week, all of the women will return for a tell-all episode, which airs Monday, March 7 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. The finale and 'After the Final Rose' episodes will air the following week on March 14, 2011.
