Redlands police officers arrested Joe Phillip Morales, 48, in Highland on Feb. 25. He was booked into West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga and was held on $25,000 bail.
He was arrested for multiple lewd acts spanning from November 2010 to February 2011.
Morales is accused of meeting the 15-year-old boy online in a chat room in November 2010.
Family members reported the 15-year-old victim and a 15-year-old female ran away from home on Feb. 16. Family members told police the two were with Morales.
The two teens were located in San Diego three days later. Back in Redlands, police interviewed the two and were able to identify Morales.
