Bristol Palin, the 20-year-old daughter of Republican politician Sarah Palin and a "Dancing With the Stars" alum, is set to publish a memoir called "Not Afraid of Life," which is set to hit stores this summer.
Bristol Palin has been a tabloid favorite ever since her mother's 2008 vice presidential campaign. At the time, Bristol Palin was pregnant with her then-fiance Levi Johnston's son Tripp and later gave birth out of wedlock. She has since become a teenage pregnancy prevention advocate.
Her new book will contain details about her life as a young mother, how she coped with her mother's political journey, her time on "Dancing With the Stars" last year and her childhood in Alaska, publisher William Morrow, an imprint of HarperCollins, said in a statement.
"She speaks candidly of her aspirations for the future and the deep religious faith that gives her strength and inspiration," the statement said. "Plainspoken and disarmingly down to earth, Bristol offers new insight and understanding of who she is and what she values most."
HarperCollins also published Sarah Palin's books "Going Rogue" and "America by Heart: Reflections on Family, Faith, and Flag".
