U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, federal agents and police arrested suspects and seized guns, drugs and cash in Florida and Utah.
ICE says the suspects have ties to drug trafficking organizations in Mexico and other countries. More than 400 are foreign nationals.
Investigators say the suspects come from over 130 street gangs, including the Lennox 13 gang in Southern California.
They face charges ranging from murder and rape to robbery and extortion.
