Rock singer Pink recently poked fun at Christina Aguilera, who was recently detained for public intoxication in Los Angeles.
Pink, a 31-year-old singer whose real name is Alecia Moore and who released the popular song "Trouble" in 2003, was referring to Britney Spears, who was hospitalized in 2008 and put under psychiatric observation following months of turmoil. She and Aguilera have not responded to Pink's comments.
Spears, 29, has since rebounded and rebuilt an image many thought was forever tarnished by rehab stints for substance abuse, excessive partying and a now-infamous head-shaving incident from 2007. Spears is set to release her seventh studio album, "Femme Fatale," on March 29.
Aguilera, 30, was detained on Tuesday for public intoxication after her boyfriend Matthew Rutler, 25, was arrested and charged on Tuesday for driving under the influence of alcohol in Los Angeles.
Aguilera was not charged. Police said she "didn't really understand where she was in many regards. She said she didn't drive, so she didn't even know where she lived."
Rutler works as a production assistant in Los Angeles. He and Aguilera have been spotted together in recent months following her split from Jordan Bratman.
Aguilera, 30, filed for divorce from Bratman, 33 in the fall of 2010 after five years of marriage. Their divorce will be made official on April 15. The Grammy-winning pop singer, and Bratman, a music marketer, have a 3-year-old son, Max.
