Lake Elsinore Police school resource officers and Lake Elsinore Police officers responded to the report. Arriving on the campus, they located the student and took him into custody without incident.
Officers discovered a shotgun, ammunition and knives in the student's possession.
Lake Elsinore Police booked the student into juvenile hall on charges of possession of weapons on school grounds.
