Charlie Sheen says he has reached a verbal agreement with "B," a day after his estranged wife Brooke Mueller slapped the troubled actor with a temporary restraining order and had their twin sons removed from his care, citing domestic violence and calling him "insane."
Sheen, 45, denied her allegations on Wednesday, after the boys, who turn 2 on March 14, were taken from his Los Angeles home, where he currently lives lives with two women, including a porn star.
"Not sure what all the legal noise is about," Sheen said on his Twitter page on Thursday. "Just verbally reached a deal with B. no court mon. yay.....yet the opposition felt it necessary to still harass me with old gibberish.... odd? perhaps. transparent? you betcha'!"
Also on Thursday, Sheen told the Philadelphia radio station Wired 96.5: "We reached a deal, I can't say what it is, but there's no court Monday. I'm not worried. They can't really ruffle this assassin's feathers."
Mueller, 33, "is thinking over Charlie's offer and has not decided if she will take it," People magazine quoted a source close to the matter as saying. "Brooke is very fragile right now."
For the past week, Sheen has sparked a media firestorm, making erratic rants against the producers of his CBS comedy show "Two and a Half Men." Filming was suspended in January after the actor began treatment for drug and alcohol addiction and producers pulled the plug on the series indefinitely after he insulted its co-creator Chuck Lorre.
Sheen, who is known for his partying ways, says he has not done drugs in recent days and has demanded a pay raise - above the $1.25 million he makes per episode - and for the crew of the show to be compensated for their lost wages.
Mueller has been to rehab herself and admitted in court documents to falling "off the wagon" last week, but says she "sought assistance to maintain my sobriety."
The two married in 2008. The actor filed for divorce from Mueller in November.
Sheen has gained a massive online following amid his turmoil. He recently broke a Guinness World Record for gaining 1 million Twitter followers the fastest. He had opened his social networking account on Tuesday.
As of Thursday afternoon, more than 1.3 million are following Sheen on Twitter. Scores of his fans are also quoting lines and phrases from his many on-air rants, notably "Tiger Blood," and "Winning."
Donald Trump has said that Sheen's on-air rants are "unbelievable entertainment" and added that the actor is welcome to one day compete in his reality series "The Celebrity Apprentice."
