Police detectives have handed prosecutors the results of their investigation in the case of /*Los Angeles Unified School District*/ officer Jeff Stenroos.
In January, Stenroos claimed he'd been shot near El Camino Real High School, touching off a widespread search and school lockdown.
Stenroos later admitted he made up the story. Prosecutors aren't expected to make a decision on charging Stenroos for several more days.
