Doctors want to amputate Gabor's left leg because of a blood flow problem.
She already had part of her right leg amputated in January.
Her husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, says she's currently being treated with medication and massage at home.
"She's doing better," he said. "She's in a better spirit at home. It's a different environment. You can see it on her face."
Gabor has been in and out of the hospital since falling out of bed and breaking her hip last July.
She celebrated her 94th birthday last month.
