A new report suggests the morning-after pill could also be used as regular birth control.

Published in the journal Obstetrics and Gynecology, the study reviewed data on thousands of women and found the morning-after pill prevented pregnancies more often than condoms.

It did not look at how it compared to regular birth control pills.

Doctors say birth control pills rely on the same hormone in the morning-after pill, just at a different dosage.
