Adam Lambert, who came in second on "American Idol" in 2009 will be performing on Thursday night's Results show alongside P.Diddy's group, Diddy-Dirty Money with Skylar Grey.

Lambert will be singing an acoustic version of "Aftermath," from his debut album and following his performance, a dance remix version of the song will be available on Lambert's website, AdamOfficial.com with proceeds going to The Trevor Project, an organization working on preventing suicide among gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender youth.

"'Aftermath' was written about finding the courage to be honest with yourself and the people who love you," Lambert said in a statement, as reported by entertainment site JustJared.com. "I hope this song inspires people to be who they truly want to be... And dance!"

On March 9, the Top 13 performed songs by their favorite artists. The finalists were chosen last week and included Casey Abrams, Naima Adedapo, Lauren Alaina, James Durbin, Ashthon Jones, Stefano Langone, Jacob Lusk, Scotty McCreery, Paul McDonald, Thia Megia, Haley Reinhart, Karen Rodriguez and Pia Toscano. After America's votes for the Top 10 were revealed, judges Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler chose Naima Adedapo, Ashthon Jones and Stefano Langone as wild cards.

Season Seven "American Idol" winner David Cook recorded this season's farewell song which is a cover of Simple Mind's 1985 hit "Don't You (Forget About Me)." The song will air each Thursday as the contestants are eliminated.

In January, Lambert told OnTheRedCarpet.com that he was "really excited" about the new "Idol" judges, Tyler and Lopez. He also announced that his upcoming album will be dropping in the fall and will be "a little dark."

The "American Idol" results show will air on Thursday, March 10 at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
