Ashley Hebert was recently named the new "Bachelorette," who will choose from among a group of 25 male contestants on the upcoming seventh season of the hit ABC dating series, which is set to begin on May 23.
Hebert, a 26-year-old dental student from Maine, placed third on the recent 15th season of "The Bachelor."
On Monday's finale, Brad Womack proposed to Emily Maynard and she accepted. Chantal O'Brien came in second place.
"I've been single for almost four years," Hebert said on ABC talk show "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Monday night, when she was announced as the "Bachelorette" star.
She added that she has only been on about five real dates during that time.
Womack told OnTheRedCarpet.com recently that it has been so long since he's seen the woman he chose in the finale, that he's not even sure if there's still a relationship.
