Though Eva Longoria was all smiles on Saturday when she celebrated her birthday a few days early with Kim Kardashian and Heidi Klum, the actress says her divorce from Tony Parker has been "very hard."
In a new interview with Allure magazine for their April issue, which hits newsstands on March 22, Longoria, who turned 36 on Tuesday, says, "Every time I talk about it, I want to cry. It's been hard. Very hard."
"I'm just trying to get through it as gracefully as possible without any drama," she added. "I'm kind of having to find new patterns because I'm not used to having--I'm used to always being on a plane and flying to a basketball game."
Mario Lopez, a host of the television show "Extra" and friend of the 35-year-old "Desperate Housewives" actress, said Longoria found hundreds of text messages from another woman on Parker's phone, who turned out to be the wife of one of the NBA player's teammates. The reports were never confirmed by Parker or his spokesperson.
The couple, who met in late 2004, wed in Europe in 2007. The two had no children. This was Longoria's second marriage. She was married to actor Tyler Christopher from 2002 to 2004.
Since her divorce to Parker was finalized in Texas in January, the "Desperate Housewives" actress has been recently linked to Eduardo Cruz, the 25-year-old younger brother of actress Penelope Cruz, according to People.
"I'm in a transition stage, settling into a new routine, and I welcome it," Longoria told Allure.
Longoria also credits the women in her life with getting her through difficult times. She says she "collects people" in her life, particularly "amazing, smart, interesting women."
