Vanessa Hudgens, who stars in the upcoming movie "Sucker Punch," is upset over a new batch of leaked nude photos, which were taken nearly four years ago, reports E! Online.
"Vanessa is deeply upset and angered that these old photos, which were taken years ago, continue to resurface," Hudgen's attorney Christopher Wong said in a statement. "It is particularly disturbing that whoever got hold of these private photos seems to be intent on illegally leaking them out over a long period of time. We are actively working with law enforcement to determine who is responsible and hold them accountable for their actions."
The former star of Disney's "High School Musical" franchise apologized to her young fans in 2007 after the first nude photos appeared online.
"I want to apologize to my fans, whose support and trust mean the world to me," Hudgens said in a statement to E! News. "I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken these photos. I am thankful for the support of my family and friends."
Hudgens recently starred in the "Beauty and the Beast"-inspired film "Beastly" and told OnTheRedCarpet.com that she "loved" looking at and kissing her "Beastly" co-star, Alex Pettyfer, even with his gruesome makeup.
She was also recently romantically linked to her "Journey 2: Mysterious Island" co-star Josh Hutcherson ("The Kids Are All Right") but has yet to comment on the reports.
Hudgens stars in the upcoming action film, "Sucker Punch," a Zack Snyder movie about escaped female insane asylum inmates who live in an alternative reality in the '50s. "Sucker Punch" is set for release on March 25, 2011.
