One of the most complicated love lives featured on "Glee" has nothing to do with the kids on the actual glee club, but with the student's studly leader, Will Schuester.
The teacher, played by Matthew Morrison, is currently dating Holly Holiday, played by guest star Gwyneth Paltrow. However, Mr. Schuester still has unresolved feelings for Emma Pillsbury (Jayma Mays) and still has to deal with his crazy ex-wife Terri (Jessalyn Gilsig).
So what did Morrison think about his character's complicated quest for love?
"None of them are really working out. I'm just trying to find some love."Morrison told OnTheRedCarpet.com at the "Glee" Paley Fest event on Wednesday.
As for Will's relationship with Holly, Morrison loves Holly's spirit but has grim prospects for the couple. "It's a great relationship, I love it. I love how carefree she is and I think it's really good for Will," the actor says. "But it's going to last as long as she can?take it. She's a roustabout. She's very free and I don't think it's going to last very long."
Paltrow is booked for at least one more episode during season two and it was revealed during the Paley Fest panel on Wednesday that she'll be back for at least one episode of season three.
On Tuesday's episode, the students of McKinley High sang original songs instead of covering a top 40 hit to take the crown at regionals. Morrison says he's not sure if there will be anymore original tunes for the rest of the "Glee" season but he does have a suggestion on what kind of songs the show could feature.
"They should get some Matthew Morrison songs on the show," the actor joked.
Morrison said that he was trying to go a different direction from "Glee" with his song, which describes a couple making love on a rooftop in the rain.
"I want to stay a little bit away from 'Glee,'" he said, adding that he believed that in order to "be taken seriously, I had to write my own songs."
Morrison spent about ten years on Broadway before joining the cast of "Glee" He told OnTheRedCarpet.com that he hopes that his upcoming album, which will be released in May, will appeal to the eclectic "Glee" audience.
"The music career is something I've always wanted to do but I think that 'Glee' is really afforded me the opportunity to really put that out there," Morrison told OnTheRedCarpet.comin January. "It's very personal to me, I wrote a lot of the songs that are on the album and I'm just really proud of it, I hope people dig it."
