The fight broke out shortly after midnight at a parking lot located on the 100 block of South California Street.
The victim, Jose Rodriguez, sustained a stab wound to his hip and minor cuts to his head and arm during the fight, where he tried to fend off a group of people.
According to police, Rodriguez provided minimal information about the incident and did not provide any specific suspect information.
He was treated at the Santa Paula Hospital and released.
