LeAnn Rimes has officially called for an end to the Twitter battle between herself and Brandi Glanville, the ex-wife of her fiancé Eddie Cibrian, as well as the other cyber bullies and fans involved.
"As a collective unit, Brandi and I would like all negativity to cease toward one another," the singer tweeted on Sunday. "We have communicated and have a direct understanding that we are ONLY ourselves on Twitter and have no other accounts that try to destroy one another.
The singer was referencing rumors that she created a separate Twitter account to bash Glanville on the social networking site.
Rimes added, "Please for our families' sake stop the hate now and let us live OUR lives. We don't need opinions or outside help in order for that to happen."
Glanville retweeted Rime's statement later that day.
Just last month, on February 15, Glanville Tweeted to Rimes, "I told Eddie to please tell you that I think it is highly inappropriate for you to sing in my sons class on Friday. Boundries!! [sic]"
She later added, "It's Mason's week share his family with the class. it isn't ur place.Let Eddie read a script. You are not his parent. RESPECT!"
The two women have had bad blood since Rimes and Cibrian went public with their romance back in 2009. The couplefell in love on the set of their Lifetime film "Northern Lights." At the time Cibrian was still married to Glanville while Rimes was married to Dean Sheremet. Rimes and Sheremet divorced in June 2010.
Cibrian moved in with Rimes over the summer and in October, finalized his own divorce from Glanville, the mother of his two sons. The two became engaged in December 2010.
