Renee Zellweger appears to have turned to fellow actress Sandra Bullock for comfort following her split from Bradley Cooper.
It was reported last week that Zellweger, 41, and Cooper, a 36-year-old actor who stars in "The Hangover" and the new movie "Limitless," had broken up. The two, who have been linked together since last year, have not commented.
Zellweger visited Bullock over the weekend, People magazine reported, saying that the two hung out at Bullock's downtown Manhattan apartment.
A photo of Zellweger standing at the entrace to Bullock's apartment was posted on the website of the UK newspaper the Daily Mail, which reported that Bullock is currently living in New York with her son Louis while she shoots her new film "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close." The movie also stars Tom Hanks and hits theaters in 2012.
Bullock, 46, also has homes in Texas, where Zellweger was born, and in New Orleans. She went through a highly-publicized breakup of her own last year. The Oscar-winning actress divorced husband Jesse James amid reports that he had cheated on her, which he later confirmed.
"She's going out with friends and she's moving on," the magazine quoted a source close to Zellweger as saying. "She hasn't been working because she wanted to really put time and energy into the relationship. Now she's going back to work."
Zellweger is known for starring in films such as "Bridget Jones's Diary" in 2001 and won an Oscar for her part in the 2004 movie "Cold Mountain."
