Rocker Lou Reed manager arrested in NY for harassment

NEW YORK

Tommy Sarig was arrested on Sunday after he got into a dispute with Adrian Smith over money.

Smith, who works with the rich and famous to find personal assistants and other help, told police that Sarig threatened to kill him after he tried to get $11,500 that he said was owed to him for helping find Reed a new personal assistant.

It's unclear if Sarig has an attorney. His telephone number is unlisted.

Police say he has no prior criminal history and was given a desk appearance ticket to appear in Manhattan court.
