The winner now has a tough decision to make - take the full $312 million in 26 annual payments of about $12 million or a one-time cash option of a little less than $200 million.

The huge jackpot caused Mega Millions fever across the country, including Southern California.
Prospective multi-millionaires lined up to buy their ticket. Unfortunately, none of them won the jackpot.
But a few tickets in California did get five of the numbers. Those tickets are worth a little more than $287,000.
Here are the lucky numbers: 22, 24, 31, 52, 54. The mega number is 4.
