"30 Rock" has had several A-list guest stars drop by the show including Susan Sarandon, Elizabeth Banks, Steve Martin, James Franco and Matt Damon. Now Tom Hanks is up to stop by the fictional world of Liz Lemon and Jack Donaghy.
"RadioMan delivers msg from T.Fey. Result? I'm on 30 Rock! Thanks, RMan Hanx," the actor Tweeted on March 25.
The Oscar-winning actor got his start in television in the early '80s sitcom "Bosom Buddies," which ran for two seasons. According to Entertainment Weekly, Hanks' last role on television was a guest stint on 1984 on "Family Ties" as Uncle Ned.
Hanks won't be the only one in his family making an appearance on the small screen. His wife of 23 years, Rita Wilson, landed a guest star role on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit." According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wilson will play Bree Mazelon, the protective mother of a teen under investigation in May's "Delinquent" episode.
