Local man helps LA's homeless on 'Secret Millionaire'

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES

Amin Moinzadeh volunteers his time handing out clothing, hygiene kits and sleeping bags in downtown Los Angeles' skid row.

But in the episode, he gave a little more than just that.

"We see this guy and he's kind of walking through with a walker and I happen to look down at his shoes and they were covered with excrement," said the millionaire in disguise, John Ferber. "Without batting an eye, (Moinzadeh) takes his shoes off and gives them to him."

Ferber was so moved by Moinzadeh's actions, he gave him $25,000 to help his cause.

Moinzadeh's emotions could be seen. He began shaking.

But Ferber wasn't done. He gave Moinzadeh about 200 sleeping bags for him to distribute.

It may be rough being homeless on skid row, but at least a few more people will be able to sleep a little better.

If you want to help Moinzadeh's efforts, donations and supplies can be dropped off at:
