Authorities said teen mom Jenelle Evans of Oak Island, N.C. and two other teenage girls were charged with fighting. Evans, 19, and another teen, Brittany Maggard, 18, are also charged with simple assault.
Authorities started investigating Friday after receiving calls about a video posted online that showed the teens fighting March 21. In the footage, Evans appears to be hitting another young woman while bystanders encourage the fight.
Evans, Maggard and 19-year-old Brittany Truett have posted bond and are scheduled for trial April 26. It was not clear if they had attorneys.
