SEAL BEACH, Calif.

The pursuit began when police say he failed to pull over for officers who were responding to a report about a road rage incident near the 22 Freeway and Beach Boulevard at 3 a.m.

Authorities said the suspect lead them on a half-hour chase that ended at Westminster and Seal Beach Boulevard where he refused to get out.

Officers shot a bean bag through the window of the suspect's car and deployed police dogs to get him out. The suspect was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor dog bites.

He faces several charges including resisting arrest and felony evading.
