Kaley Cuoco jumps onto the big screen in 'Hop'

LOS ANGELES

"I'm used to seeing myself on a little tiny screen," said Cuoco. "I'm a TV girl, I think, at heart. But it's so fun to try some else and be able to be a part of a film with these people in it and this amazing cast. It was just an honor."

/*James Marsden*/ plays Cuoco's brother in the film. He befriends a rabbit, who happens to be the Easter Bunny.

Cuoco gets one big scene with E.B., but he hides his life-like tendencies with her and pretends to be a stuffed animal.

"It was such a fun scene to shoot, I was literally holding a bean bag, a sand-filled bag," she said. "I ended up being very comforted by it. I would hold it and pet it, it was really weird and soft. But I kept thinking through the whole thing, 'Oh my gosh, how is this going to look?' And when I saw it, I said, 'Aw! So cute."

Cuoco currently co-stars on the hit TV sitcom "The Big Bang Theory." And while she does have a lot of TV experience to her credit, her fondest memories are from the series "8 Simple Rules" and working with the late John Ritter.

"That one season is something I'll treasure for the rest of my life. I can't talk about it without getting emotional because I would watch him and I would think, 'He just did this scene six different ways.' Every take he did different and the audience, that's why they would laugh and scream every time because it was like watching a whole new scene every time," recalled Cuoco. "And I remember thinking, if I'm ever on my own show or I have the opportunity, that's what I want to do. I want to keep the audience guessing and that's what made him so brilliant."

"/*Hop*/" is rated PG.
