New Study: Teens see little risk in heavy drinking

Nearly half of all teens in a new survey say they don't see great risk in having five or more alcoholic drinks every day.

Nearly half of all teens in a new survey said they do not see great risk in having five or more alcoholic drinks nearly every day.

The study by The Partnership at Drugfree.org found that the percentage of teens drinking is down from recent years, to 35 percent. But, it also found that 45 percent did not view heavy drinking as a big deal.

It also found an increase in marijuana and ecstasy use among teens compared to recent years.
