San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call of shots fired on the 10000 block of East Placer Street at about 11 p.m. and found the body of 24-year-old Ryan Astrella of Rancho Cucamonga.
Astrella had suffered a gunshot wound and was declared dead at the scene. Authorities say his body was next to his car with the trunk open.
There is no suspect description available at this time, and a motive has not yet been determined.
