Stephanie Seymour, a former supermodel, has reportedly said a Navajo blanket helped spur a reconciliation between her and billionaire husband Peter Brant.
She had filed for divorce in 2009 and it was reported in September 2010 that the two called off the proceedings. The 42-year-old and Brant married in 1995 and are parents to sons Peter, 17, and Harry, 13, as well as daughter Lily, 6.
Seymour recently told Town & Country magazine that she had given back a Navajo blanket, a "sentimental memento," to Brant during the divorce hearings and the pair then decided to work things out on their own, Yahoo! reported.
Seymour and Brant have not commented publicly about the issue. Seymour reportedly told him during their exchange: "Let's get rid of all of these people. I have more confidence in you, and I would hope that deep down you would have more confidence in me, that we can work this out."
"The 'dirty fight' is all about winning, not healing," she told the magazine. "It's fueled by people you're paying. It is the lawyers talking and not you. Of course we're in therapy. And then I have my own therapist, and the kids have theirs, and there is nothing wrong with this."
Seymour and Brant also have children from previous marriages - she has one, a son, and he has five. Seymour is also known for her appearances in the Guns N' Roses videos "Don't Cry" and "November Rain." She dated lead singer Axl Rose for two years.
