Australia grows world's hottest chili pepper

NEW SOUTH WALES, Australia

Three workers from "The Chili Factory" posted video of their reaction to eating the "Trinidad Scorpion Butch T Chili" on /*YouTube*/.

The chili registers more than 1.4 million units on a heat scale. A jalapeno registers between 2,500 and 5,000 units.

The men said the secret to developing the world's hottest pepper lies in the fertilizer. They use something called "worm juice" which is liquid run-off from a worm farm.
