The suspect in last week's explosion near a Santa Monica synagogue faced a judge in a Cleveland, Ohio court Wednesday.

Ron Hirsch, 60, waived a detention hearing, and told the judge he is ready to be returned to Southern California.

Los Angeles County prosecutors have filed four felony charges against Hirsch, including explosion with intent to murder, and possession of a destructive device.

He is accused of being responsible for a blast that sent a pipe and concrete crashing into a Santa Monica house.

He's being held in Ohio, where he was arrested.
