Candles and photos representing the more than 700 homeless children who are living on skid row lined sidewalks along art walk in downtown Los Angeles.
The vigil was put on by students from the University of Southern California's School of Social Work
"Who can ignore the face of a child? That's really what we're trying to show. Change the stereotype of homelessness," said USC student Lauren Ochsner.
Organizers also handed out literature to remind passersby of the hundreds of children who sleep in shelters and on sidewalks every night.
