"Poor girl. That must be an incredible amount of pressure," Emma told the Associated Press. "I hope she's enjoying it. Must be intense."
Watson turned 21 years old on Friday and posted a video blog on her official website, to update fans on her plans.
"Just a quick message to say thank you for all the Birthday wishes and gifts you've sent. I'm continually overwhelmed by the support from you all," Watson said in her video. "Turning 21 is a significant occasion for everyone, and it's proved to be quite a milestone.
Watson finished her freshman year at Brown University this year and announced in March that she had decided to leave school to concentrate on her career.
Aside from her acting, Watson also has a successful career in fashion, working on an environmentally-friendly fashion line called People Tree and modeling for various campaigns, most recently being named a spokes model for the French beauty company Lancôme.
"My second fair trade fashion collection for People Tree came out in February, and in March my Pure Threads collaboration with Alberta Ferretti was released. It's been great fun working with such marvelous people, and this year I plan to continue pursuing my love of fashion, working as an ambassadress for Lancôme."
The final installment of the "Harry Potter" franchise, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" is set for release on July 15 and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" was released on DVD on Friday.
Watson is currently preparing for her next role in the 2012 film, "The Perks of Being a Wallflower," and said in her video that she has been working hard on her American accent for the role, which will begin filming this summer.
