Bobby Smith, 81, surprised the suspect in his kitchen, and instead of calling for help, he reached for a hot skillet full of potatoes - his dinner for the night - and hit the robber in the head.
"He sank to his knees 'cause I hit him," he said. "Then I reached back about six feet away and got this pitchfork. Then I went to work on him."
The robber fled with Smith's wallet, but it only had $12 inside.
Smith says if the suspect comes back, he'll be waiting with his skillet and his pitchfork.
