After two weeks of mishaps and malfunction, Kirstie Alley and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy were able to pull off a nearly flawless dance complete with a shirtless Chmerkovskiy and a little help from Alley's "Look Who's Talking" co-star John Travolta.
The pair nabbed a 23 out of 30 from the judges for their Fox Trot to the tune of "American Woman" with Carrie Ann Inaba calling it their best performance of the night and Bruno Tonioli calling it "dirty."
So which compliment did the 60-year-old prefer? "I like being dirty, seriously," she told George Pennacchio of KABC Television, OnTheRedCarpet.com's parent company after the show on Monday.
"Dirty is way better than best dance," she added.
"It's amazing nothing fell off today," Chmerkovskiy chimed in, referring to the couple's two-week streak of bad luck on the ballroom floor.
Alley, however, wasn't too keen on her All-American look, complete with a giant American flag belt buckle. "I feel a little bit like Elvis in this and I'm not so much on that," she said.
"I think everybody is getting better," the actress said about the competition with Hines Ward nabbing the highest score of the night. "With Maks and I we just, we really have to dance our own game because you can't -- you're not somebody else, you know? You just have to dance your own dance."
As for her own dance, Alley said, "I loved this. It was so much fun. It was so reminiscent of when 'American Woman' came out in the early seventies and, you know, I was a hooch then and I'm dirty now so win-win."
