Laura Terrill was on her way to her daughter's dance studio near Dallas when she hit the railing of a bridge. Her car then became engulfed in flames.
Several officers and a few bystanders helped pull Terrill out of her car because her feet were stuck. Terrill's family said she may have passed out while driving due to an undisclosed medical condition.
She is hospitalized, recovering from dozens of broken bones and serious burns.
