Mary McCormack, 42, who stars in USA Network's "In Plain Sight" is expecting her third child with producer Michael Morris, People magazine reports.
The actress' pregnancy is being written into the show's storyline, which follows Marshall Mary Shannon, who is responsible for relocating witnesses to Albuquerque for the Witness Protection Program with her partner Marshall Mann (Frederick Weller).
Aside from her professional obligations, Shannon also deals with a dysfunctional family and a minor league baseball-playing boyfriend, who she has little time for.
USA released the following statement regarding the character's new development to E! Online, "We'll see how Mary's pregnancy will affect her job, her complex relationships with her partner, her sister and ultimately, with the father of her child - which is the big reveal."
"The upside of being knocked up along with my character - no need for stunt boobs," McCormack, 42, joked to People.
McCormack married her husband in 2003. The couple has two daughters, Margaret, 6, and Rose, 3, and live in Albuquerque, NM where the series is shot.
The actress is best known for her roles in "In Plain Sight," "Murder One," "The West Wing," and in Howard Stern's movie, "Private Parts." In 2008, she was nominated for a Tony Award for her performance in the Broadway revival of "Boeing Boeing."
Season four of "In Plain Sight" premieres on May 1 at 10 p.m. ET on USA Network.
