April 25, 2011 12:00:00 AM PDT
According to a recent study, obese teens are just as likely to engage in risky behavior as normal weight teens.

The study states that very obese teens are smoking, drinking, using drugs and having sex at the same rate as healthy weight adolescents.

Previous research had stated that overweight teens put themselves in more danger.

Scientists also found that very obese girls were more likely to have sex after drinking or using drugs.
