The new trailer for "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" was released on Thursday, featuring stars Shia LaBeouf and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
In the third and final installment of the "Transformers" franchise will follow the Autobots as they learn that an Apollo 11 moon landing mission in 1969 had found a wrecked alien robot spacecraft with no survivors during a secret mission on the dark side of the moon. They're forced to race against the evil Decepticons to find the ship and learn its secrets, leading to what could turn into the Transformers' final battle... if you're willing to believe that there really won't be another sequel.

The movie, which is directed by Michael Bay, also stars returning actors Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Ramón Rodríguez and John Turturro, as well as Peter Cullen, who voices Autobot leader Optimus Prime, and Hugo Weaving, who voices the villain Megatron.
Naturally, Labeouf will reprise his role as Sam Witwicky, but his love interest Megan Fox is not reprising her role as Mikaela Banes. The actress had made unfavorable comments about Bay, causing a press firestorm. It was announced in June that British Victoria's Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is making her movie debut as Sam's new love interest.
Newcomers include "Grey's Anatomy" actor Patrick Dempsey, John Malkovich, Ken Jeong of the comedy movie "The Hangover" and Frances McDormand.
The movie is the follow-up to "Transformers" and "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" and is scheduled for release on July 1, 2011, with the option of the IMAX 3D experience.
