Lawyers in court; unfazed by Obama's birth certificate

PASADENA, Calif.

Gary Kreep and Orly Taitz are questioning the legitimacy of Obama's birth certificate released last week.

Both have lost several legal efforts to disqualify the president's birth records and have faced sanctions for abusing the federal court system.

Although the original lawsuit sought release of the birth certificate, Kreep told a San Diego television station Friday that the release does not change their position.

Kreep and Taitz challenge the president's citizenship because they believe he was adopted by a foster father while living in Indonesia as a child, according to the United States Justice Foundation. Kreep is the foundation's executive director.
