When Kirstie Alley first stepped out on the ballroom floor weeks ago, she quickly became a front-runner in the pack of celebrities with dance moves to match her charm. However, as the weeks go on and contents find their stride, Alley seems to struggle to move ahead of the pack.
On the latest edition of "Dancing With The Stars," (Spoiler alert!) the actress was tied for last place with Romeo, earning a wide range of scores: six, seven, eight and a nine from guest judge and dance champ Donnie Burns.
"I got so enthralled with the audience," Alley told OnTheRedCarpet.com after the show. "When we did the kiss thing and the audience went wild, I was like, 'yes! Oh my god! We're rock stars!' And then I'm like, 'where am I?'"
"We had it down, it was phenomenal in dress rehearsal," Alley's partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy said. "I just want her to have that feeling of accomplishment. "
As for the kiss that kicked off the dance, Alley says it was her followers on Twitter that spurred the inspiration for the smooch.
"I believe I have become the courier. Because I'm on twitter and people are like, 'yeah, grab his [expletive], yeah, kiss him, yeah, do this,'" Alley said. "And I'm like going, 'really? What do they want? Wow wow!' I've just got thousands of them, what I should to him."
Chmerkovskiy adds, "I am so afraid about what's coming! Let's keep the twitter clean, people. 'Cause she's reenacting it, apparently."
